In a highly anticipated reunion between former Iowa teammates Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese, the Indiana Fever claimed a hard-fought 85-77 victory over the Chicago Sky on Sunday.
Clark led the charge for Indiana with a team-high 23 points, while Reese added 20 points and 10 rebounds. The duo, who had previously faced off in a college matchup earlier this season, combined for a dominant performance that proved too much for Chicago to handle.
Despite trailing by as many as 11 points in the second half, the Sky battled back to tie the score midway through the third quarter. However, the Fever responded with a decisive run, fueled by Clark and Reese, that ultimately sealed the victory.
